A low-temperature lighting solution for MH Automation International

Case Study

The challenge

The challenge for MH Automation International (MHAI) was to find lighting that was suitable for use on their cranes, in international climates. MHAI provide machinery and parts to industrial clients across Europe, and are trusted by those clients to provide reliable, durable products and parts to ensure their own projects go to plan. Lighting products have to be resistant to the vibrations of the engines and motors, and operational at extremely low temperatures since this particular piece of kit was a crane working in the Bavarian region of Germany.

The solution

Simon Taylor, Founder of Ecolighting Systems said:

“We spent time consulting with the client to fully understand the tough environments the lighting would be operating within. Once we had all the information to hand – it was clear that Cugnot by Sammode was a stellar option.”

This lighting fixture is one of the most durable on the market, designed for extreme temperatures, and to handle vibrations caused by motorised parts. The fittings were installed at the client’s location in Germany with extremely positive feedback on the end result.
