Carefully meeting requirements for a leading British car manufacturer

Case Study

The challenge

The remit for our client, Dynaclean, was to source silicone-free lighting for their spray booths for one of their customers, a prestigious British car manufacturer. The challenge was to find an explosion-proof light fitting which was silicone-free and resistant to highly aggressive chemicals and cleaning agents. The client does not allow LED lights in the spray booths which contain silicone as this affects the final finish of the paintwork.

The solution

Simon Taylor, Founder of Ecolighting Systems said:

“After careful consideration, we recommended a specific product from Remontowa. It met all the requirements of the client: explosion-proof, silicone-free, resistant to aggressive cleaning, and well-suited to industrial facilities and workshops.

This is a great example of how we can work to tight constraints. In almost every scenario there is a product out there that’s suitable – you just need the knowledge of the market and various suppliers to help you find it.”

The result post-installation was an effective solution and a very satisfied customer.
